Basis & Assumptions
- 1 ft = 0.3048 m exactly (international foot), so 1 sq ft = 0.09290304 m².
- 1 acre = 43,560 sq ft; 1 guntha = 1/40 acre = 1,089 sq ft; 1 cent = 1/100 acre = 435.6 sq ft; 1 ground = 2,400 sq ft (Chennai convention).
- State-varying units (bigha, katha, biswa) are not included — their value differs by state, so no single conversion is correct.
